Odemaris Irizarry (Human Resources Specialist/ Scheduling/ Facilties Management) was born in Puerto Rico and spent 18 years in her native land. She came to the US in 1980 and lived in Miami, Florida for two years while attending Miami Dade Community College. She came to Columbus after deciding to go to Art school and transfering to the Columbus College of Art and Design for Fine Arts (concentration in painting).

Odie started working at The Ohio State University in 1995 in the Accounts Payable Department. In 1996 she transferred to the Admissions office, and in 1998 she began working with the Office of Minority Affairs. Since March of 2006 she has been working in the Department of Dance.
