  • Evidence of success in an introductory course in motif or Labanotation
  • Some directing or teaching experience

  • Labanotation 1 and one Laban Studies course
  • Dance Technique (2 ballet and 3 modern per week or Personal Training Option)
  • Pedagogy
  • Related graduate-level outside course (5-6 credit hours)

Project

Typically a reconstruction of a dance from a notated score, or a project in documentation of a work.
