OSU Dance is sad to share the news of the passing of Jessica L Wilt,(MFA ’02).  She began her career as a dancer and musician, eventually realizing she wanted to contribute to the arts world not just as a performer, but also as an educator, arts administrator, writer and advocate. In 2013 she founded ArtsEdTechNYC, a group for artists, educators, technology enthusiasts, and anyone interested in the intersection of the arts with education and technology.

During her courageous 18-month battle against Ewing’s Sarcoma Jessica returned to Columbus for treatment. In reconnecting with the department, Jessica mentored an undergraduate’s senior project focused on cancer research and performance. 

Family will receive friends at ST. BRIGID OF KILDARE CHURCH, 7179 Avery Road, Dublin OH 43017 from10-11:00 a.m. THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 19, 2015 followed by Mass of the Resurrection at 11:00 a.m. Lunch and fellowship immediately following.
