Organized by OSU Department of Dance professor Mitchell Rose, Dance@30FPS is vibrant two-part program featuring exciting new examples of the marriage between dance and filmmaking. The first is a selection of award-winning shorts from around the world. Followed at 8:30pm by UPAJ: Improvise (Hoku Uchiyama, 2013), a riveting behind-the-scenes documentary chronicling the unlikely East meets West collaboration between African-American tap superstar Jason Samuels Smith and Indian classical dance icon Chitresh Das.
