Menghang Wu is a Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Dance, and her dissertation is Performing Objects (表演客体). Her research interests span Dance Studies, Performance Studies, Critical Theory, Object Oriented Philosophy, Science and Technologies Studies, Eco-criticism, Sound Studies, and Chinese Dunhuang Dance (敦煌舞). She teaches ballet, contemporary dance, Chinese dance, composition, and dance/performance theory at the Ohio State University, National Ballet of China School, Hebei University, and Peking University.
