Stitching a Quilt of Armor (Zoey November) shares a story of courage, determination, and the fierce power of love in the face of deep injustice. Rooted in age-old community practices, textile/folk art, and current events, this work is presented in partnership with Open Door Stage & Screen, a Columbus-based non-profit org for performers with disabilities.

Thirty-one hours to live (Mary Storm) is an investigation of female agency and intimacy inspired by Henrik Ibsen's 1879 play A Doll's House. This work finds identity through the perspectives of the play's female characters, exploring the limited autonomy women possessed in the late 19th century and drawing parallels to the social and political fears of many women today.

This concert is the culmination of Mary Storm's and Zoey November's capstone MFA projects, fulfilling degree requirements by demonstrating a synthesis of craft, artistic vision and conceptual rigor, as well as professional competence in their selected research areas.

Accessibility: captions, elevator, accessible restrooms, no flashing/strobe lights. Audio description can be provided on request for Stitching a Quilt of Armor, please email dance@osu.edu.
