Thursday (PhD interviews only)

Observe technique classes

Research Presentations, Individual Interview, Observe current graduate students teaching

Participate/observe evening technique class

 

Friday (visit day for MFAs and PhDs)

Coffee/light breakfast for faculty/staff, grads and auditionees

9:15 - 9:45 am
Informational meeting with faculty/staff and auditionees

10:20 am - 12:00 pm
Observation/participation in contemporary technique class (students are welcome to participate and/or observe these classes)

12:00 - 12:45 pm
Lunch (on your own)

12:45 – 1:45 pm
Open Discussion / Graduate Seminar with Faculty

2:00 - 4:15 pm rotate between the following activities
~ Interviews with faculty - please be prepared to discuss your research interests
~ Tours of Dance and related campus facilities
~ Solo spacing / sound check

4:30 - 5:30 pm
Informal discussion on current OSU graduate student research

 

Saturday (MFAs only)

8:30 - 9:30 am
Self warm-up

9:30 - 11:30 am
Group Technique audition – includes Improvisational Movement, Contemporary Centre, Improvisational Scoring

11:30 - 2:30 pm
Individual showings of performance/choreography (each student is allotted 3 minutes to show a solo) and ongoing lunch provided
