We welcome prospective BFA dance major and dance minor students and their guests to attend one of our summer virtual open houses. External Relations Coordinator Damian Bowerman and/or Academic Program Coordinator Amy Schmidt will give you a program overview and Q & A session, current dance students will tell you about their research, and then the BFA majors will personally guide you on a video tour of our facilities via Zoom.
We are now also offering individual live virtual department visits for all of our academic programs. We can give you and your guests a program overview, Q & A session, and a guided video tour of our facilities via Zoom. PLEASE NOTE: In accordance with the university's Activities and Programs with Minors Participants policy, if the prospective student is under the age of 18, a parent or guardian must be present online for the individual live virtual department visit. One-on-one visits are not permitted.
We welcome visitors and have organized three special events this year for prospective undergraduate and graduate students to experience "a day in the life" of the department. You may also schedule an individual department visit.
