Yukina Sato, a second-year MFA candidate in Ohio State’s Dance Department showcases her cultural arts exploration. The first part is to share her research on Saeko Ichinohe, a Japanese pioneer in the 1970s performing arts scene who bridged between East and West. And the second part is about Yukina Sato's journey of seeking inherited cultural identity and how does interflows between old and new. This collaboration between two Ohio State dancers and the Columbus Koto Ensemble invites the audience to transcend time and space.
