"Música" stars Rudy Mancuso, Camila Mendes, JB Smooth and many more, including Ohio State Dance Post MFA Scholar Ryan Johnson. This romcom takes the viewer through a rhythmic experience of a world driven my music, romance and a bit of drama. Next semester in African 3, Johnson will teach a section of "Música" as students explore polyrhythms, and global rhythms translated to the body. 

"Música"  and Johnson's work "Sawubona 2.0," which premiered April 11-13, 2024 in the HATCH Spring Concert demonstrate how percussive dance shows up in concert dance, theatre and film.
