Congratulations to MFA Dance Candidate jiara sha as LIMINAL (LMNL) selected her dance film, "s o f t e d g e s m a l l d a n c e" for their dance film festival presented by Orange Grove Dance + Dance Place, Washington, D.C. on Friday April 24-Sunday April 26, 2026. 

sha's film was also adjudicated and accepted as 1 of 7 films in the American College Dance Association (ACDA) Screendance Gala Concert. The Gala Concert screened at all ACDA Regional Conferences. The film also won Best Student Film at Lived Perspectives Festival (UK) and has also screened at Vessels: A Night of Dance Film curated by Cat Rider at the Cincinnati Contemporary Arts Center.
