Professors Alfonso Abraham Cervera and Irvin Manuel Gonzalez continue to build national recognition for their collaborative choreographic research with "Las Rosas Que Enter(r)amos". Over the past three consecutive years, the duo has developed, presented, and toured this evolving work through performances and festival invitations across the country.

This weekend, they will perform an excerpt of "Las Rosas Que Enter(r)amos" at the Sandrell Rivers Theater in Miami, Florida, as part of the VIDA Festival, hosted by Carne Viva Dance Theater.

In November 2026, the work returns home to Los Angeles with its full evening-length premiere at the Roy and Edna CalArts Theater (REDCAT) as part of the prestigious NOW Festival, where Cervera and Gonzalez have been selected as official NOW Festival Artists. The NOW Festival is REDCAT's annual platform highlighting innovative new works by Los Angeles-based artists. (REDCAT.org)

This engagement marks another exciting milestone in their ongoing artistic trajectory. Their previous appearance at REDCAT was with Primera Generación Dance Collective, whose work was later recognized by Dance Magazine as one of its "25 to Watch."
