Post MFA Scholar Ryan Johnson, Alumna Dianne McIntyre (BFA 1969) and Alumna/Emerita Professor Bebe Miller (MA 1975) will be sharing the stage at the grand opening of the new Doris Duke Theatre at Jacob's Pillow on Wednesday, July 9, 2025.  

The performance opens with a movement score by Annie-B Parson, performed by 12 renowned artists associated with the original Doris Duke Theatre including Miller, Susan Marshall, Brian Brooks, Eiko Otake, Irene Rodríguez, David Thomson, Liz Lerman, David Dorfman, McIntyre, Dormeshia, Doug Elkins, and Jawole Willa Jo Zollar.

Representing percussive dance by closing this historic event, body percussionist, Guggenheim Fellow and Artistic Director of SOLE Defined Johnson will perform alongside some of the most influential artists in the field, both past and present.
