Graduate students in the Department of Dance will participate in this year's OhioDance Festival from April 24-26 at Ballet Met's studios and performance space in Columbus. MFAs Tammy Carrasco, Sarah Levitt, Joshua Manculich and PhD student Lyndsey Vader were selected to present their works in the festival's evening performance on Saturday, April 25 at 6:30pm. Levitt and Manculich will also teach master classes at the festival.
The theme of the 2015 festival is "Dance Matters: Engaging Communities" and will feature choreographer Liz Lerman as the keynote speaker. Levitt, a former Liz Lerman Dance Exchange company member, will perform an excerpt from Lerman's The Matter of Origins in the keynote presentation.
