Designed by choreographer Anna Brown Massey, the Department of Dance at the Ohio State University premiers the interactive event Secret Frolic Live.
Massey and her collaborators employ interdisciplinary improvisational practices to probe how a mediated space may construct a community. Held in the Ohio State University’s Motion Lab in Sullivant Hall directly across from the Wexner Center, these performances are open to the public.
Research for this work has been supported by the Advanced Computing Center for the Arts and Design, the Department of Dance at OSU, and Alumni Grants for Graduate Research and Scholarship; and mentorship by Bebe Miller, Alex Oliszewski, and Norah Zuniga-Shaw.
Note: It is important for the show that audience members to not enter by a door other than the High St. one, so please do not have the MOLA in your materials/conversations as the location. I prefer for all participants to enter at the rotunda. Thank you!
A project by Anna Brown Massey, presented in fulfillment of the requirements for the degree Master of Fine Arts with a distinction in Dance
