The company will share works by Quilan Arnold, Tammy Carrasco, Susan Hadley, Bill T. Jones (from Labanotation score taught by Rachael Riggs-Leyva), Bebe Miller, and Susan Van Pelt Petry. Immediately following the showing, MFA alumni Leslie Seiters will present UNICORN and more UNICORN performed by Leslie Seiters/little known dance. Leslie Seiters studied visual art as an undergraduate at Kenyon College, received an MFA in Dance from The Ohio State University, and is currently training to be a Feldenkrais practitioner at Feldenkrais Center in San Diego. Since 2002 she has directed Leslie Seiters/little known dance theater, an art-making entity now based in San Diego. She also codirects lean-to-productions with long-time collaborator Rachael Lincoln and is part of an improvisation practice/performance collective we call LIVE. Leslie’s work has been presented in Switzerland, Portugal, Poland, Germany, Indonesia and throughout the States. She has received San Francisco’s “izzie” awards in both choreography and visual design and has received grants from the Zellerbach Family Fund, CASH Grants,as well as residencies at ODC Theater, CounterPULSE Theater, the Djerassi Foundation, Purdue University and Goucher College. Leslie has primarily lived/worked on the west coast and has performed with Sara Shelton Mann/Contraband, Jo Kreiter/Flyaway Productions, Dandelion DanceTheater, Bebe Miller, Scott Wells, Knee Jerk Project, Mary Armentrout, Abby Crain, Body Cartographers, and Jess Curtis/Gravity Physical Entertainment. Please note: This event is open to OSU Dance faculty, staff, students, and invited guests.   Barnett Theatre, Sullivant Hall America/New_York public
