South Asian Dance Retreat Performance: Manchapravesh

The South Asian Dance Retreat brings to the audience a galaxy of talent in various forms of Indian classical dance. The showcase will be split into two halves:

Manchapravesh: 12 noon – 1:00pm

Graduation recital of OSU students in Odissi- Monali Nandy Mazumdar and Sreeja Krishnan, disciples of Kaustavi Sarkar

Showcase of workshop participants: 1:00pm – 2:00pm

The participants of the workshop retreat will showcase their newly learned skills. This showcase puts together Indian classical dance styles of Bharatnatyam and Odissi. The lead instructors Parvathi Ravi Ghantasala and Kaustavi Sarkar will join the participants.
