B.F.A. Dance Student Madeline Denman has been selected for the joint-award from the American Dance Festival and Ohio State’s Department of Dance for a Leadership Scholarship of full-tuition to attend the ADF Summer Dance Intensive at Duke University on June 18-July 25, 2020. Her Ohio State Dance award is from the Helen P. Alkire Scholarship Fund, which honors the legacy of Helen P. Alkire, who was the founding chair of the Department of Dance at Ohio State from 1968 to 1983 and remained an active advocate for Ohio State Dance until her death in 2015 at the age of 100.

Also, MFA Dance Alumnus Quilan Arnold and Visiting Artists Momar Ndiaye and André M. Zachery have been announced as summer faculty for the festival.
