BFA Student Angela Ciarochi Receives Outstanding First-Year Student Award

Angela Ciarochi

Please join us in giving BFA Student Angela Ciarochi a shout out for receiving the Outstanding First-Year Student Award, which is a part of the 2020 Student Life Leadership Award.  The award is designed to recognize the efforts of first-year students on Ohio State’s campus. Award recipients have engaged in experiences both in and out of the classroom that have increased their responsibilities to the campus community. These students have demonstrated an ability to balance academics with their involvement and have shown promise for future leadership at Ohio State.

Ciarochi is a first year BFA dance major from Richmond, Virginia. Within a month of starting her Buckeye journey, Angela became an office assistant with the Office of Residence Life. She also serves as class representative for the class of 2023 within her department, providing a voice to needs and concerns to the faculty and administration on the behalf of her peers. Ciarochi was also selected to be a dancer in the dance department’s fall concert. Through her involvements on campus this first year, she has become passionate about inclusion, wellness, learning and community; values that she sees as essential to her leadership style and part of what make her an outstanding first-year student. Congratulations, Angela!
