Dianne Mcintyre continues to influence the artform of modern contemporary dance.  For over forty years she has brought her quiet strength and sharp wit to the stage, producing works that combine dance and theatre, exploring cultural themes that challenges the viewer's ability to think and feel.   The Doris Duke Artist Award of 2016 is a fitting recognition of her distinctive voice and significant artistic contributions.
