Please join us in warm applause for Graduate Associates Forrest Hershey, Michaela Neild and Katie O’Loughlin, recipients of 2022 Graduate Associate Teaching Award. The GATA is Ohio State’s highest recognition of the teaching done by graduate students. Approximately 3,000 graduate students serve as GTAs each year, and the GATA recognizes recipients with $2000 each year through a nomination and review process.

For Ohio State Dance GTAs to receive three of these awards in the same year is testimony to the remarkable teaching of Hershey, Neild and O'Loughlin. It shines a bright light on them---and on our department. We congratulate all the nominees, including Alex Christmas and Alyssa Stover, and all GTAs from our department. Your teaching makes a major contribution to the superlative instruction for which this department is known across the campus.
