The Department of Dance, within the College of Arts and Sciences, seeks a Production Manager to join our team. The College of Arts and Sciences is the largest college and the academic heart of the university. The College hosts 81 majors. Serves as the primary production coordinator for all departmental productions, special events, and rental events. Oversees classroom, theatre, and dance studios facilities needs of the department. Teaches all lighting and production classes. Serves as a substitute and/or guest instructor in Dance 5602 Lighting Practicum. Serves as a resource for BFA and MFA projects. Advises undergraduate and graduate projects in Production, Lighting, and Choreography. Graduate Associate supervision as dictated by faculty production area head. Supervises student crews. Coordinates production equipment purchases with faculty production area head and department fiscal officer. Chairs Production Committee meetings. Represents the department with other university department and professional organizations. Assists the Chair with special requests.
