A new duet by choreographed by MFA student Anna Brown Massey with MFA student Biag Gaongen was selected by Contemporary Dance Theater to premier in the Area Choreographers Festival June 3rd and 4th at the Aronoff Center for the Arts, Jarson-Kaplan Theater in Cincinnati. Phrase plays with inverting expectations of cultural identity through lip syncing, stealing costumes, and multi-lingual dialogue.
