Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Marissa Ajamian Grossman is a first-year PhD student in the Department of Dance, working at the intersection of scholarship, librarianship, and leadership. She is a librarian dedicated to creating inclusive, curiosity-driven spaces that support and promote the performing arts. In her previous positions as Program Coordinator for the Hawaiʻi State Public Library System and Branch Manager of the Liliha Public Library, she developed her approach to leadership, which is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and aligning library services with community needs. Her research explores Cold War-era Hollywood musicals and their intersection with dance and gender studies.
