Her dissertation research focused on the navigations of Racial Battle Fatigue in Black women dance educators at Predominantly White Institutions. Christmas works to dismantle White Supremacy within dance through community organizing, intergroup dialogue, and curriculum design in a movement toward collective liberation. Christmas champions racial justice through her leadership and pedagogy.
