Lale Madenoglu is a dance artist, choreographer and MFA in Dance student at The Ohio State University, supported by the Fulbright Master's Grant. Originally from İzmir, Türkiye, their research explores reimagining somatic practices through a queer lens and translating internal perception into choreographic forms. They hold a BFA in Contemporary Dance from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University and have a background in Body-Mind Centering® and Skinner Releasing Technique. Lale’s solo Not So Simply Human was selected for performance at ACDA East-Central and the Somatic Dance Conference & Performance Festival 2025, with support from the Arts & Humanities Graduate Research Small Grant. They started teaching ballet in 2018, and since 2019, they have been conducting classes in contemporary dance technique, improvisation and somatic awareness for various age groups and levels.

They have participated in numerous international workshops, including P.A.R.T.S. Summer School (Brussels), the b12 festival (Berlin), and the Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui Repertory Workshop (Turin). Their choreographic and performance work has been presented in Türkiye, Europe, Russia, and the United States, as well as at Body-Mind Centering Association Conferences. Lale also worked as a creative performer in the works of independent choreographers.

Lale’s solo "desideratum" received third prize at the Allegretto Grazioso Dance Competition in Moscow.

Their article, "Dance as an Alternative Approach to Life", was published in Contact Quarterly Dance and Improvisation Journal in 2020.

In 2023 and 2024,  Lale performed their solo choreography, mentored by Cansu Ergin, "I am justified, from ground to sky" at Alan Kadıköy, MSFAU Alumni Performances, METU Contemporary Dance Days and Çıplak Ayaklar Kumpanyası.

Lale continues to explore how somatics and queerness intersect to inform choreographic and pedagogical practices.
