Dr. Valarie Williams has spent the past eleven years in college leadership, as Associate Dean for Arts (2006-2009), Arts and Humanities (2009-2017), ASC Outreach and Engagement (2018) and executive director of the Arts Initiative where she led the Ohio State University ‘s award-winning Urban Arts Space. Throughout this time Dr. Williams taught ballet and advised student Labanotation projects, while maintaining her own research as a notator and director. Autumn semester we welcome Dr. Williams back to the Dance faculty full-time. We look forward to her expert teaching in Ballet, Analysis, Laban Studies, Repertory, Directing from Score….and more.
